I’m using Dreamweaver to work on a site because I like the split-view it has, although I might try a few other programs like Cursor, Coffeecup, Phoenix Code, Pulsar, Visual Studio Code, etc to try to make the site. I haven’t done any real web design in years just a lot of Wordpress since then, but when I did, it was after technical school for computer science and we learned on Dreamweaver and others, so I kind of still like those programs. They’re simple to use and should be fine for a basic website.
Right now I have a live site that I used sitepro here to throw together. I have my own custom domain. In the next few days I will change the DNS to Cloudflare, but I was also wondering how I go about uploading the site I am working on on my computer. I know I can just upload the files, or use FTP, I didn’t even look if IF has FTP. Do I delete the sitebuilder stuff before I upload the files?
Yes, we provide FTP access so you can upload your website!
I would suggest to delete the files generated by Site.Pro first. Replacing a website without deleting the previous site can make a big mess of your website files, waste disk space, make it hard to find which files are important and which isn’t, or even cause unexpected issues.
