I tried out the Site Pro builder but don’t want to use it and will install WordPress instead. From previous posts in the forum I gathered that I should delete the index.php file in htdocs, I did that. Is that all I need to do? Just double checking because I want to start clean and avoid having any issues from this in the future.
If you want to start very clean then you may as well delete other files created by Site.Pro. They’re also not useful for a WordPress site.

Then yes you are good to go.
If you never touch the Website Builder button again then you’ll be fine.
