How would we know? We don’t run Scam Adviser. If you feel that they are listing your website incorrectly, then you should work that out with them.
As far as I can tell, Scam Adviser runs based on user reports. So if people report your website as a scam there, then Scam Adviser will warn others about your website.
And I don’t know if this applies to you because you didn’t tell us which website you are talking about, but if you are using a free subdomain, then these issues are somewhat expected.
With free subdomains, you get some “noisy neighbor” effects, where less trustworthy websites may also use the same base domain. Some websites then use that as evidence to conclude that since there are some malicious subdomains, the entire domain name and everything on it must be dangerous. This can cause problems with security filters, but also these “website trustworthiness” websites, flagging your totally legitimate website as dangerous.
Having your own domain name will make your website appear more professional. Not just for visitors, but for these external tools too.
Yes I am using free domain so kindly suggest if I move to paid that will work kindly suggest and tell me how I can move to paid domain, but I want to keep my domain back its index.
To be very clear:
It might be a problem caused by using a free subdomain, but I have no idea if that’s really the issue. I also cannot make any guarantees that using a different domain name will help.
Again, if you want to be sure why some other website says your website is harmful, go to the website where it says your website is harmful and start looking for solutions from there. We do not operate Scam Adviser, and we don’t know why your website is listed, let alone have the power do so something about it.
Not using a free subdomain may help. But I cannot provide any guarantees that it will even help solve the problem a tiny bit.
Just buy a domain name at a domain name provider of your choice and add it to your account:
Please note that your website being listed at Scam Adviser says nothing about it’s position in search results. Maybe the search engine also thinks your website is dangerous, and maybe not using a free subdomain may help with that. But again, zero guarantees.
if your site is sketchy then make your site less sketchy. Simple.
my website is not Sketchy i am doing work properly so i got 23 positive review on GMB if we are doing work in wrong way how candidate given 4 or 5 star rating. may mr its happen due to free subdomain and hosting
It could also just be that ScamAdvisor is simply wrong. I’ve seen them say that sites that were later proven to be scams were likely safe, so it wouldn’t surprise me if the opposite is true as well. Those kind of safety tools can be helpful, but you never want to use them as your sole guide. I know that visitor submitted reviews guide their ranking sometimes. Luckily ScamAdvisor has a contact page you can use to explain why you think their rating isn’t right.
Also, you may want to consider claiming your site on ScamAdvisor. That would give you the ability to read and respond to reviews, as well as report them.
