Its a known bug with the online file manager. Thats why InfinityFree reccomend Filezilla:

If you’re using the premium service, then thats with iFastNet not InfinityFree, and so we can’t really help much on these forums.

The online file manager itself is just an FTP client. So even by using the file manager, you are using FTP.

The file manager has a known bug where it says “FTP Quota Exceeded” for no apparent reason. There is definitely nothing wrong with your hosting account, and it doesn’t mean you reached the disk space limit or anything like that.
