I cant upload with ftp

I’m new here. When i go to the filemanager Monsta FTP i get the message:

The upload failed. Error during the FTP-upload. Permission denied at: “/index.html”

Why can’t i upload?

You need to upload website files in the htdocs directory /htdocs, you cannot write files where it says do not upload files.

So for your website upload files inside the /htdocs folder

Thanks, it worked. Can I also display the uploaded web pages in the file manager?

I don’t think so, you will have to view through a browser, but you can edit.
