So i decided to switch to this host because the previous one just kept getting worse day by day. But when i tried uploading my website files (as a .zip) with the file manager, once it reaches 100% in its uploading stage, i get this error

You’re trying to upload a 47 MB zip file. We have a file size limit of 10 MB. Uploads that size are rejected before they hit the file manager server.
Oh ok. What about the error i get through ftp? Is it also related?

There is a file size limit of 10 MB. Note that it’s a “file size” limit and not an “upload” limit. You simply cannot have files larger than 10 MB on your account in any way.
Do you only get the 522 error with this file or with any files? If you get it with other files as well, can you please include the full trace?

I get the 522 error with a 486 KB file too!
the first file i tried to upload through ftp was the zip with all my website files which was 47MB
But i still got the same error when i uploaded a 486 KB file (used the composer.phar file to test since i had that laying around)

Also since the file size limit is restricted to 10MB, that means that there’s no way of me getting my 47MB website and forum hosted?

Which FTP client do you use? If you’re using FileZilla, can you please include the entire console log so I can see where in the transfer the error is generated?

Of course not! You can just extract the zip file on your computer and drag the entire folder to your account using your FTP client. Uploading thousands of files will take a bit longer, but you don’t have to worry about extracting a zip file on the server. It’s the most reliable method of uploading a website.

I use an app on my iOS devices called “FTPmanager” which doesn’t seem to provide any logs.
I honestly don’t prefer filezilla because it’s ridiculously slow when it comes to downloading, uploading and such… And it’s not my internet connection because when i use the ftp client (ftpmanager) on my phone, everything is very fast.
Also it’s not an issue with my ftp client since i was able to upload tye same file to my previous host without any problems at all.
Well, I’m not sure I can help you then. I don’t have any iOS devices, I don’t know that FTP client and I don’t understand why you would even want to build a website from a phone or tablet.
