I cant login to my FTP

I think the password is incorrect, but I cannot check

update: used the correct password, cant login still

This like might help

Also have you accessed the control panel? That’s what activates FTP for you

I tried ftp.epizy.com & ftupload.net

cant edit my post; i have also changed pw, same issue

time out error

Did you:

  1. Open the Control Panel (not the Client Area) before using FTP?
  2. Enter the correct FTP credentials?
  3. Directly use the IP address 185.27.134.11 in the FTP hostname? Sometimes, ISPs block the FTP domain hostnames.

If you are using FileZilla, can you share the logs?

same problem, timie out error

i use winscp

Ok to be certain:

Your FTP credentials are in your dashboard, click FTP in this menu

and they are right there:

The other thing to check is do you get the same error if you try and use the online file manager?

A timeout error is not a password issue, that sounds like a firewall interfering with FTP connectivity. If so, you can change your password a million times, but it won’t do anything.

The full logs from FileZilla will tell us more about when the timeout occurs, which will help us give more tailored instructions.

You can also try to connect over a VPN and see if that solves it.

so share any logs your FTP client produced about the error.

My gut feeling is either your firewall is blocking FTP, or your firewall\ISP have blocked the host domains

Update:
Thanks for reminding me guys, I have finally solved it.

So in the router/modem there were lots of new settings. I have added the device to DMZ and it is working now.

I have no idea what it does, but it seems to bypass the firewall (as the modem firewall settings are kinda weird)

Last update excuse my spam.

I have changed the firewall settings to ‘standaard’ inside the modem and I can finally login again
