I can't get my FTP to work.

I’m trying to configure my DVR to send footage to my FTP server. I got it to work on my PC after changing read/write permissions. I’ve changed the read-write permissions on the FTP server but the footage still won’t upload. I know that it’s not a problem with my DVR as it works perfectly fine at home. The port forwarding has been configured to work locally and externally. Could someone please help me and show where I’m going wrong?

I believe that in this KB article: https://infinityfree.net/support/javascript-error-using-api-or-mobile-android-app/ is described your error. Also, if your footage is more than 10MB then it cannot be uploaded because there is a 10MB limit.

InfinityFree provides a website hosting service. That means all the files you upload should be website files. You cannot use your InfinityFree account as a media backup service.

Please stop trying to upload your video backups to our servers. We don’t allow such usage here.

To backup Video footages Infinityfree is not a place for try other real file hosting site allow to FTP upload like userscloud.
Infinityfree provides web hosting not file/Video hosting. IF is best place to start a website but not to host files/video as backup. Try Douploads, Userscloud, these allow such a thing with unlimited storage with security as well.

Oh right ok, I never really knew that I wasn’t able to do that. Thanks for the support, I’ll look around for something else.
