I am working on a project and I am working with firebase, well you already make a phone application and now I am trying to connect my domain to firebase to be able to have some compatible functions from both platforms, but at the moment of almost finishing configuring the external domain in firebase It asks me to verify that it is mine by adding a CNAME dns and delete the A dns that are there, however it is not possible for me to delete them, so how can I do it, at most in advanced options other dns records appear, but those would be in premium account and right now I can’t afford it, does anyone know what I could do?
InfinityFree subdomains must stay in InfinityFree and cannot be used elsewhere. And yes, those A records are immutable and cannot be modified.
Spoiler alert: purchasing premium also don’t give you full DNS control on free subdomains.
If you need full DNS control, you must have your own custom domain, and use third party DNS services. A .com is usually just $12/year, which is quite affordable to most people.

Fun fact: getting your own domain is actually way cheaper than getting premium hosting. I don’t know how firebase works, but if all you have to do is to add some DNS records, then purchasing a domain is definitely the way to go.
