www.pluramovie.com.ng (new domain)
www.pluralmovie.com.ng(Old Domain)
(Pluralmovie.com.ng)
I recently updated my website to redirect from my old domain to my new domain (www.pluralmovie.com.ng). However, instead of displaying my website, the new domain shows a default placeholder page from the hosting provider.
Here are the steps I have already taken:
Updated the redirect settings to point from the old domain to the new domain.
Ensured my website files are uploaded to the correct directory (e.g., public_html).
Verified that an index.html file exists in the root folder.
Updated the DNS settings to use the nameservers provided by your hosting service.
Despite these efforts, the new domain still doesn’t display my website properly. Could you please help check if:
The domain is correctly linked to the website files.
There are any server-side issues with the redirect or domain configuration.
I checked your account but it seems that your new domain name has been removed from it already.
I can also tell you that simply repeatedly removing and re-adding your domain name to your account will not help fix this issue. The issue you’re having is that you didn’t upload a website to your new domain name yet. Adding and removing your domain is not going to make your website appear there.
If you already had the website on a different domain on the same account, you’ll need to move it to the location of the new domain name. This guide explains how to do that:
And please understand that we provide a website hosting service. We provide the hosting, but you are ultimately responsible for building and maintaining your website. We’re happy to assist you and guide you if needed, but that doesn’t mean that we will manage and migrate your website for you.
And please understand that we provide a completely free service. We’re already giving you server space completely for free (even though server space is definitely not free), and spending our time to give you this information without getting anything from you in return. We’re happy to give this for you, but then please also consider that we can’t also spend hours of our time to do website administration for you, again without paying us anything.
And if you are willing to pay to have your website moved, please consider hiring a website developer to do that for you.
This is what my old domain is now showing both my new domain and old domain is not showing any site again
