Good morning!
I have a problem! I have a domain hosted with you, but it does not let me access the dash. It is not sending me the recovery email when I enter the email in the recovery page (it said that the email was not associated), but when I enter the account number or the registered domain, I get the message “recovery email sent”.
To see if it would allow me to do so, I tried to register the email again and it did, but I do not have access to my domain.
What are the steps to follow to recover my website?
Hi and welcome to the forum! Either use Softaculous if you installed WordPress from there to log in to your dashboard and eventually change your admin user password or follow this:
Oh, sorry, thought you were talking about your WordPress dashboard in that case.
Since I don’t know if I can help about recovering the details for you to log in to the Client Area, I guess I’ll have to wait until someone who knows will help us…
That sounds like your account is associated to a different email address than you think it is. And we sent a recovery email to the email address we have on file.
According to the login history, someone (I assume you) logged in only a few weeks ago. So please try to find if you can recover which email address you used.
If you request a password reset, the reset link is sent to the email address on file. If you enter a different email address, you’ll get an error.
If you enter the email address you think is the right one and you get an error, it means that the email address is not the right one.
If you request a password reset for a domain name or username, the email is sent to the email address that domain or username is linked to. If you don’t get the message on the address you expect, it means the domain or username are linked to a different email address.
