Please help me throughout whole procedure of setting up ZOHO Mail as per August 2023 on completely free subscription cpanel of InfinityFree, I have verified ownership of the website by updating HTML but DNS records are very hard. Please help!
UPDATE:- I have successfully done the MX and SPF records but it says this with DKIM and I am also not sure on where and how to put the DKIM records on FREE subscription CPANEL INFINITY FREE
You can’t set up DKIM records on free hosting, especially for subdomains. If you need to set up a DKIM record, please consider getting your own domain name and configure Cloudflare for it.
And what happens if we don’t set up the DKIM record and skip it altogether (provided that MX and SPF records are successfully added), like will we be able to send and receive emails? or what will be unable to do without dkim records?
You will still be able to send and receive emails, but it’s better to configure DKIM because having it configured prevents spammers and malicious parties from sending emails coming from your domain.
Our organization for which I am making the Emails is at its early stages so I don’t think anybody will try to cheat along with it, once this is needed, we will configure DKIM.
