please help me…
i had make a website using wordpress. but my url become http/xxxxx.xxx/wp . i tried to change it so there is no /wp. so i change it in setting. than it appear page not found 404. i cannot open my website now :,( idont have any backup… please help me to retrieve my website. i dont know what to do
Did you just change the URL in the settings without doing anything else? If so, note that you’ll probably still need to move the files from the htdocs/wp/ folder to the folder htdocs/. You can do so with a file manager or FTP client of your choice.
yes iam just change the url in the setting noting else. than i cannot open my web anymore using administrative url, it shows eror 404 web site not found.
where to find htdocs/wp/? iam still new and i dont know anything can you teach me step by step to do that. iam really appreciate your help.

but i had done stupid thing but chage the url in my wordpress dashboard setting to http://pmbinvestment.club/ (iam erasing the /wp, becouse i dont know how to publish my website). after that error 404 page not found appear.
please help me
@noobiess use an ftp program to transfer files from htdocs/wp to htdocs or simply remove the previous installation and install new one while installation changed the directory from wp to blank to install on main directory.

If you open your file manager. In there, you should see a folder called htdocs. In the folder htdocs is another folder called wp. You need to move everything from the wp folder to the htdocs folder.
