How to revert a domain name back to an old hosting?

Hello

Would you know if there is something to set into infinityfree panel, to free a domain name,
to have it come back to a previous hosting service ?

I’ve changed the DNS settings on registrar side, back to the old hosting provider,
also configured and recreated the domain name onto the cPanel from the hosting side,

But the url still points to Infinityfree

Would you know if there is something to do inside Infinityfree to free this domain name from ?

Once you change the DNS settings with the registrar it can take up to 72 hours for this to propagate through all DNS providers.

Also, your own browser cache MAY make cause the old page to still be displayed.

Ultimately, Infinity free cant stop the DNS change if you’ve changed it with the registrar. HOWVER if your new\old host use IFastNet, you’ll need to make sure you delete the domain from your account here, for it to work.

I didn’t want to delete anything from here, as i wanted to test this service with another domain.

Would you know how to delete it properly ?

After deleting the domain, the url is redirtecting into suspended-domains website
advertising ifast.net hosting.

Dunno how to get rid of it.

It’s all ok, after a couple minutes, the new DNS config had taken over.

DNS changes can take a while to propagate. Glad it’s all working now :slightly_smiling_face:
