How to quicky get a SSL Certificate for your website (for those who new to InfinityFree)

Hello guys, today i’ll show you how to get a SSL certificate for free and easy for those who don’t know or new to InfinityFree.

So first you need to navigate to InfinityFree Free SSL Certificate and click on New SSL Certificate buttton that look like this:

Next, type the domain that you want to get SSL inside Domain Name box and change the SSL Provider to ZeroSSL and hit Create Order like this:

After that, you need to click on Setup CNAME Records button to be able to verify and get SSL, you should see a screen like this:

Now you have to wait about 5 to 10 min to verify your domain, don’t worry, if your domain take more than 10 min to be verify or you can’t wait, then keep waiting or just spamming the Set CNAME Records button, and if you see the Requests Certificate button light up, you should click it to verify your domain and get SSL.

Ok, so after 10 min my domain got verified, and the Request Certificate button has light up now, we just need to click on that button


After that, you can see this screen (just let it chill):

It doesn’t take too long for this screen to pop up, if you see this then click on Install SSL Certificate Automatically button to get free SSL for your website (Note that it might take up to 15 min for the SSL to get applied):

Don’t spam the button, just wait. Once you get a success message that the CNAME records were added there is no reason to click that button again.

It can take a few hours for the DNS check to go green.

And you should only ever need to click the setup CNAME button once. The reason the check doesn’t go green immediately is not because the CNAME records were not correctly added, it’s because DNS changes can take some time to be visible everywhere. And if the problem is that changes take a while to take effect, then making the changes over and over again will not help.

I see you submitted this to Informal, not Community Guides, even though it looks like a guide. But I can tell you it will be rejected if you submit it as a guide, because we already have an official article here:
