I will like to know how to install Wordpress custom theme that I downloaded and saved in my personal computer to my website.

What are the steps to take to achieve this?

Welcome back to the forum! You’ll have to extract the theme’s zip file on your computer and then upload the theme folder with an FTP client to your domain’s htdocs folder on wp-content/themes/.

  • The theme file uploaded is invalid because the zip file should have the theme slug folder
    This happened when I try to install the zip file for custom wordpress. What shall I do?

Please read @JxstErg1 instructions carefully. You have to extract it first before uploading it to ftp, especially if the zip is bigger than 10mb, which you can’t upload it to our server.
