Hello. I recently deleted some subdomains. But when I go to delete the subdomain folders from the server, it tells me “Error during FTP delete directory, permission denied at” and then the path to the folder.
How would I do this?
You cannot.
You can at most rename them

@KangJL is correct. The reason is because you are not allowed edit permission on the root folders. Because you share the server with other people, and because you can have multiple domain under your account, it is for your own security to prevent hacks and contain vulnerabilities on your site.
While you cannot delete the folder, you are allowed to rename it. I would recommend something like “Deleted”.
