Accidentally setup the Site.Pro sitebuilder on your domain? Don’t worry, it’s easy to remove the sitebuilder and restore your old website.
Common Use Case: Most commonly, users (like you!) will install WordPress, then decide to see what the sitebuilder has to offer. Deciding that WordPress is better for them, confusion occurs as deleting the sitebuilder account does not restore the WordPress installation!
Before Getting Started
Before continuing, let’s make sure that this guide will work for you. The following MUST be true to continue!
- http://your-domain.tld shows a Site.Pro landing page
- http://your-domain.tld/wp-admin/ shows the WP admin login page (If you changed the WP-Admin login URL, use your updated URL instead of the one shown)
Removing Site.Pro is really easy!
Step 1
Delete it from the client area

Click the trash can icon
Step 2
Open the file manager from the account dashboard
- Go to Login to your account - InfinityFree and select your account, then select “Domains”
- Select the orange “File Manager” button
Step 3
- Delete the
index.phpfile from the account
Step 4
- Rename the
spb_index.phpfile toindex.phpand click “ok”
Step 5
Test and make sure it works! Load your domain name and see if your original site appears!
