How to add ads on your website html code

How do i or where do i paste this html code for the ad? since the site builder needs to have a plan to unlock the custom html

<div style="position: relative;"><iframe src="https://publisher.linkvertise.com/cdn/ads/LV-160x600/index.html" frameborder="0" height="600" width="160"></iframe><a href="https://publisher.linkvertise.com/ac/1058460" target="_blank" style="position: absolute; top: 0; bottom: 0; left: 0; right: 0;"></a></div>

Well, there is your answer. If you need to add HTML code but the software you’re using to build your website doesn’t let you, then you’re out of luck.

The version of the Site.pro builder we offer has a few basic functions. If you need more functionality than what this basic version has to offer, you can either choose to switch to a paid Site.pro hosting plan, or use a different system to build your website.

I guess you could download the index.php file that was generated by sitebuilder and then insert the advert code using a text editor, upload the modified version back to the website

This should work but the advert code will probably disappear if you edit the site with sitepro again requiring you to repeat the procedure after any edits

Worst case it may even prevent you from editing the site again, you’ll have to try it and see what happens

Good luck :+1:

Site.pro obfuscates the code it publishes, meaning they deliberately make it hard to read and modify, so it’s basically impossible to make modifications to the published code.

And the purpose of having a site builder is that it’s easy to build a site, and having to manually edit source code every time your site is published is very far from that. Biting the bullet and switching to a system that does support the things you need is a lot easier.

With enough time and head scratching it is technically possible to do what I suggested BUT I do agree with Admin

Hi jieunlatte, lovebug, admin,

You have the option to add GA code into site pro editor, during this stage instead of placing a GA code, place a GA tag instead, this way you can insert code on Google Tag side rather than dealing with site pro, meanwhile ensuring that is going to be run along GA.

Cheers!
