I registered an account here a day or two ago, and when I tried to host my domain, it showed this message:
How long does it take to wait? I haven’t seen any forum posts that match my issue.
Look at your screenshot.
It literarily says Custom Domains can be added after your account is setup. You must create your account with a free subdomain first.

I have created a free subdomain, but it still here.
What is your site’s free subdomain?

I think you misinterpreted how the system works.
What that means is that you first create a hosting account with a free subdomain, then add your domain to the newly created hosting account.
It doesn’t mean first create a hosting account with a free subdomain, then create a second hosting account with a custom domain.
You cannot create a hosting account with a custom domain. It has nothing to do with waiting, account verification, or whatever else, because those are not the case.
