How GET SSL CNAME Error

Hello, I am following the steps to obtain the ssl certificate: How to get Free SSL (HTTPS) on InfinityFree

I do the steps but I get an error, delete my other account because the same thing happened to me, what can I do?

I am using only infinityfree

I have a free website to test this on, you can see that I dont currently have ssl installed

I clicked on the “Manage SSL Certificate” button

And then clicked on the “Add SSL Certificate” button and then “Request free SSL” in the popup selection

I left the SSL provider on “Use recommended provider” and then clicked the “Create order” button

I then clicked the “Setup CNAME records” button

Now I have a message at the top saying that cname is setup but I may have to wait for it to take effect before I can continue so I will wait and check on it later

I just checked back and its now saying ready so I clicked on the “Request certificate button”

And finally I clicked the “Install SSL Certificate Automatically” button

I now have a message saying that it is installed and will be ready in 15 mins

it doesn’t help me, i follow the steps in the tutorial and the same error appears, but now i’m retry and found i dont know why but its work.

As lovebug said above, when setting up the CNAME records you often have to wait a few hours for it to work:

From what you’ve said, this sounds like exactly what happened to you.
