How do I get my site image on the search engine?

You’ll have to make an image that is at least squared (so width and height must be equal); also, what I suggest is that the logo is visible to the eye of the one who opens the website in the browser’s tab (so don’t write things that might be only readable on a square with size 256x256 for example). I’ve added the file, named it as favicon.ico and then uploaded it to htdocs in the file manager for the website here like you’ve said.

Also one last question, just like the meta tag for the site name which takes time for Google to update, will this take time for Google to update too?

Hey!! Really wanna say thank you for the help and really appreciate this. Your technique actually worked and I did get the site icon. I’m writing this to confirm that it worked.

I also added more to the code so it can store more than one resolution so the browser will choose the best one. Gotta need to wait a bit on that one to see if it’s working.
