How can there be io overuse without a website?

Username (e.g. epiz_XXX) or Website URL

http://racheli.rf.gd

Error Message

Hello Valued Customer,

This mail is to inform you that your site with the username epiz_27378471 has utilised its daily resource limit.

This limit is reset every day and your site will be reactivated in 24 hours time (24 hour suspension )

The resources that your site has over used are :

io overuse

Other Information

So right now, my website is completely empty. Nothing. I have but a single file in my htdocs folder: a .htaccess file redirecting to my new website: “Redirect 301 / https://racheli.me/”. According to the statistics, absolutley nobody accessed my InfinityFree website in the last 31 days.

Yet, on June 13th, my website was yet again suspended for io overuse (for the 8th time).

Any ideas, anyone? I don’t want to get to 40 suspensions and lose my redirection, every now and then someone might try and use it…

Thanks.

When did you get that email exactly? I checked your account and the last suspension logged was almost a month ago.

June 13th. The site was empty for a while then. And I don’t want to keep getting it…

I think your account gets buggy, just like mine before. I never got any I/O issues after moving my entire websites to another account. Maybe you should try moving your site to another account?

Yep, same here.

Transfer all your files to a new account.

Also check if cloudflare is on, turn it off

@KygekDev @FreeServices can I do that while keeping my current address, racheli.rf.gd? Because I only use my website as a redirect to my new site in case someone sees an outdated link and goes there, so I need the same address.

No, You can only use it again if the website is completely deleted You can try using a new subdomain like racheli.epizy.com

So it doesn’t help me… I only have one humble request from InfinityFree, to have a redirect from racheli.rf.gd to racheli.me., without the frequent suspensions. Nothing else. Any way to do that?

301 redirect?

@Greenreader9 I already have a 301 redirect. My website is completely empty, I have but a single file in my htdocs folder: a .htaccess file redirecting to my new website: “Redirect 301 / https://racheli.me/"

Sorry, I must have forgotten to re-read the original question.

I would try removing the domain from your account, than deleting the account. Afterwards, create a new account and add the same domain, and the same .htaccess file. Some people say resetting it helps.
Thanks

IIRC back then there was an issue with the usage statistics not resetting correctly. But I believe that was fixed already.

Absolutely! Just make sure you remove the domain name from the old account before deactivating this account. Then you can use it on another account right away!

Then I’ll try that. Thanks.
