How can I upload a zip file guys? I tried but I dont know how. please help me
Hi and welcome to the forum! If you’re going to upload a ZIP file, the risk is its deletion since most website/other types of ZIP files weigh more than 10 MBs, which is the file size limit for any other file that is not an HTML, PHP, JS or a .htaccess file.
If you’re uploading a website, please consider extracting it on your computer and then upload everything that is in the extracted folder to your domain’s htdocs folder with an FTP client. If there are instructions to follow on the software you’re going to install, read them first before uploading your website. You might also need to create a database and set it up before using the software you’re going to install.
If your ZIP file contains any other thing that is not a website, it might be better if you upload that onto a file hosting/cloud sharing service like Google Drive or MediaFire then link it to your website.
