Hosting accounts share the same database server therefore you cannot change the MySQL version only on your account.

We have MySQL 5.7. MySQL 5.6 is a downgrade, not an upgrade.

Also MySQL 5.6 is end of life and does not receive security updates, so there is just no way to offer it safely.
