Accidentally I have changed a folders permission to chmod d___(00), so no one can change the directory. By doing some research I foune that it can’t be fixed… If there is way that might help to ?
In this case I would like to change the root directory… How can I do that? ?!> )

Hi,
As far as what I know you can’t change your root dir, it is what it is.
Yes, the htdocs directory is editable by default now so you can delete it if you don’t use it anymore. This was a fairly frequently requested change.
Also, who are you afraid of might change a directory? Setting the permissions to 000 would break your website because nobody would be able to access the directory, including you and many of the server processes. And there already restrictions in place to prevent rogue scripts and other users from causing too much damage to you account.

I’m sorry, but which directory do you want to change in what way? It’s not possible to edit the document root for a website on free hosting, that’s a premium only feature.

OK, that answers one of my two questions. Now the second question: in what way do you want to change the directory?
First I would like to say that : as I have done mistake that I cannot edit any some of ny files in the htdocs directory!
So I decided to change the htdocs director to another folder ( any kind) like htdocs2 etc…
So that my main domain’s root folder be that one( htdocs2) @Admin

Ah, now I understand! When you wrote about the permissions, you didn’t ask how you could do that, but how you could _un_do that instead.
Unfortunately, again, it’s not possible to edit the document root for a website on free hosting, that’s a premium only feature. Also, there is no reset directory permissions after they have been broken.
But what you could do is remove the initial domain name from your account (it’s in the Addon Domains) section and then add it again. That way, it will be assigned to a different directory.
Thanks admin.. . Such a good help
