You must add the domain name to your hosting account to be able to host it with us. No matter what you do with DNS records, you can point the domain to our servers, but if our servers don’t know the domain name, they have no idea what website should be shown on it.

If you only wish to host the play subdomain with us, you’ll still need to add the domain name to your hosting account, but you don’t need to point it to our servers. You can use CNAME verification to add it without impacting your current website or hosting:
