My website (freestuffindia.in) home page is showing directory listing page. Previously it was showing “connection has timed out” and now it is showing directory listing page. I have tried to fix it via .htaccess file but it didn’t work. There is something else which needs to be fixed.
Please help @Admin . This website is very important for me. I will upgrade it to paid hosting in coming days.
folder permission maybe?
you may need to enter htdocs. directory listing doesn’t show every thing out of htdocs folder, are you sure htdocs folder isn’t empty?
wordpress is installed in htdocs. But there two other htdocs folders in freestuffindia.in folder and fgdfsdfg folder. I think these two folders are creating the problem. When I try to delete these two folders, it shows these folders cannot be deleted. Please give any idea how to fix this.
I think only @Admin can solve this problem. Can someone tell me how to contact the @Admin.
The IP address your website is on was the victim of a DDoS attack, but the attack has subsided and the IP address has been reactivated yesterday. That means that all is working as intended.
The “Directory Listing” page means that your hosting account is working, but that there are no files for your website on your account. Please try to upload/install your website again, and double check that you are using the right directory to upload the files to (check the Addon Domains in the control panel to see which directory to use).
