Help with my InfinityFree account and domain registration!

Hello, my current InfinityFree account is suspended. There was an increase in usage in one of my plugins, and I assume the CPU was overloaded. The notification from Infinity arrived in my email as spam. I’m so sorry about this. I’m only interested in creating my website as an artist, and I really need it. A few minutes ago, I purchased a hosting plan from another hosting provider, but I need to delete my domain, mayxer.com, registered with InfinityFree, and I can’t because my account is suspended. Do you think you can help me?

You control everything about your domain at your registrar (where you bought it), which shouldn’t prevent you from switching the nameservers/DNS settings to your new hosting provider even if your InfinityFree account is suspended.

If you don’t have the files to migrate, you will need to wait 24 hours for the CPU usage temporary suspension to lift. Then, download/backup all your files and migrate:

Thankfully, it is impossible for hosting providers to hold your domain name hostage, you still have full control over your domain name through your domain name provider. If you’d like to host your domain somewhere else, you can easily update the nameservers with your domain name provider to point to your new hosting provider. You don’t need anything from us to make this change.

If you’ve already done this but are still seeing the suspension page, it’s most likely due to DNS caching. This means your computer or network is still remembering the old settings and directing you to our servers. Usually, this resolves itself within 24 to 72 hours.

Also, deleting the domain name on our end doesn’t affect DNS cache, so it will not help you solve this issue.
