ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED

My domain is through namecheap & I am also using their private email server.

I would just like to know if this is related to the DNS problems with epizy.com or if it’s something else. Most importantly I am able to send emails but not receive them. I am already using mx.byetcluster. com as shown in the article as well as the recommended settings from namecheap (i.e. mx1.privateemail. com priority 10, mx2.privateemail. com priority 10 ).

Any feedback on this would be great. I’m pretty confused what additional steps I need to take here in order to bypass this DNS resolution issue.

Thanks!

Your first domain points to ns1.epizy.com.namesilo.com and ns2.epizy.com.namesilo.com instead of ns1.epizy.com and ns2.epizy.com, while the second domain points to NameCheap’s BasicDNS.
For the first domain, I don’t know what’s happening with Namesilo with the changing nameservers issue, but I just know that they are also adding .namesilo.com to the custom nameservers and that shouldn’t be done.
For the second domain, you must remove the NameCheap PrivateEmail MX records, and use this KB article as a guide to find the perfect DNS records to put in the “Advanced DNS” section of the NameCheap Domain Management Panel for your domain.

Thanks for the reply, could you help me out a bit more as I’m very confused. The website and email was working up until a week ago. I would like to know what I need to change to get it running again.

You say the domain is pointing to namesilo.com however in Namcheap I can see that the domain is pointed to ns1.epizy.com and ns2.epizy.com. As a test I’ve added ns1.epizy.com.namesilo.com and ns2.epizy.com.namesilo.com in namecheap to see if that makes a difference.

The KB article linked takes me to a “how to find the IP address of your account” article. Perhaps I’m missing something here but how does one relate this to the issue with email?

Only the first domain is pointing to the wrong nameservers. Remove all nameservers, and change them to ns1.byet.org, ns2.byet.org, ns3.byet.org, ns4.byet.org and ns5.byet.org.
After that, follow for the second domain the guide I linked to to use CNAME records and like so have a working email because the Main Domain has a MX record that points to the right MX host.
