So I had a website hosted here, on that unserious link above. It was a pretty important website, and took a lot of work and time. I just had it hosted on this domain for the time being. I am now trying to recover the files on this website, but I can’t find it anywhere on my account, nor does the link work anymore. Is it possible to recover the files from this website?
If you go to your account, and click “Hosting accounts”
at the bottom you should have a bar that looks like this:
If the site is in the “deleted accounts” section, then I’m afraid it’s gone. This is one of the many reasons I (and several others) recommend keeping your own backup of important data
By the sounds of things, it might have been suspended and then deleted for inactivity. You would have been sent emails
Looks like that’s correct. The website can indeed be found under “deleted accounts”
Unfortunately, I have not received any e-mail about the removal of this, which is kind of unfortunate.

unfortunately gone means gone. One of the drawbacks of free hosting is that there is no backup on InfinityFree’s side
