I am trying to set up google sites on my domain, infintyfree being the third party domain registrar. When i enter the google CNAME destination "ghs.googlehosted.com. (including the period at the end). It shows an error that “it does not look like a domain name”. It is because of the period at the end of the CNAME destination
Hi and welcome to the forum! First of all, we don’t own your domain nor are we a domain registrar, so you’re free to do anything you want with your domain. Anyway, you’ll have to go to your actual domain registrar’s panel to change the DNS records for your domain, obviously also changing the nameservers to your domain registrar’s ones in order to do that, and if your domain registrar doesn’t have any DNS services for your domain, use another DNS provider such as Cloudflare; and I’m saying this because Google Sites is another hosting provider, so you’ll also have to decide whether you’re hosting your website with us or with Google Sites instead.
