Any way Google login could be fixed?
Can you share some reproduction steps and any error messages you received? The more information you provide the faster your issue can be addressed.
Go to infinityfree.com, try to log in using a Google email using the Login with Google button.
You have to connect your account to Google first , login using email and then go to profile and then “manage social login”—>“connect google”
As shown in this screenshot:
I don’t know why that’s happening to you. Either you should be redirected to a prompt to confirm your password or be redirected to Google to login.
Does it actually keep spinning or just appear to refresh the page with nothing having changed?
It prompts me for my password, brings me back to the page, then I click the button again, and the busy indicator on the button spins.
Hmm, that’s strange.
When you click that button, the client area simply sets up the authentication request to Google and then redirects you to the sign-in URL.
If that doesn’t work, two possible explanations come to mind:
- The client area is taking a long time to retrieve the sign-in URL and send it back to you.
- The sign-in request to the client area completed successfully, but it takes a long time for your browser to load the Google sign-in page.
Eventually, the request has to time out. Could you perhaps just let the loading indicator spin and see what happens? It should say something after 5 minutes at least, but you could let it sit for 10 minutes just to be sure.
Looks like it is just sending some data off via POST to
Login to your account - InfinityFree. The request completes, and it seems like a blank body response. Care to share code?
Admin won’t share Client Area code, but Admin (and all forum members) can help troubleshoot this. Is it possible that your browser blocked the Google sign in window?
Anything in console? Does the web request looks like it went to the correct place? What was the HTTP response code? Response body?
Has anyone verified functionality?
Hardy HAR:
MOD Note: Please don’t share random internet download links here
Then please allow upload of HAR files so you can properly troubleshoot the platform’s shortcomings.
The download link is viewable by clicking the orange pencil icon in the corner of your post
First of all, what the heck is a .HAR File?
Second, I am not trusting any LimeWire links due to known reputation.
You should Grok, how does living in Andrew Carnegie’s shadow affect technology experience hosted by people in The Netherlands? I think that is the real question here. @Admin?
Ha ha, very funny.
Wouldn’t a HAR File expose sensitive info though?
I genuinely don’t understand what you are saying. Can you avoid writing like this? It’s very confusing.
BTW, Pinging Admin does nothing.
Not if @Admin is following best practices. It was taken yesterday.
