I’ve been having a google indexing issue that started a few months ago, to where my entire wordpress site is un-indexed now. And i’m wondering if it has anything to do with any changes made by infinityfree to its servers. i recall recently infinityfree made some upgrades, as well as changes to ssl.

I started my wordpress site in october of 2024. And connected it to google search console and started doing manual submissions of indexing. For a while everything was being indexed and searchable on google. As of March 6, 2025 I had 871 indexed pages on google, and then google started removing my indexed pages. Now i have zero indexed pages, and one thousand un-indexed. Last 2 pages were removed last week. I know SEO and indexing is complicated and there are different reasons why google can un-index pages. but i did see other error messages on google search console relating to site server performance - basically google had to keep retrying accessing certain webpages - due to server issues. and also last month i got a server error code (5xx) for 27 of my pages. (error: Your server returned a 500-level error when the page was requested.). so basically google is running into infinityfree server issues when trying to access some of the pages on the site. i even went in and tried to get it to recheck the pages with the 500 error. and after almost one month, it just failed against few days ago.

and so i’m wonder if maybe google un-indexed my site because of the poor server performance?
I have about one thousand articles posted on the site. i’m only using half the storage space so far. but wondering if maybe at this point this is too much for the free site to handle? i know i keep getting emails from infinityfree to upgrade… any suggestions much appreciated.

Please note that crypto related content is forbidden, remove content that violates the terms of service or your website will be suspended.

Indexing is between you and google, and 5xx errors are usually caused by invalid code or incorrect site configuration, not server issues. I would look into speeding up your site by removing plugins/themes.

Google also removes low quality, spammy, and duplicate content from the index, low quality and duplicate content seems to make up majority of your website.

Thank you So on my website i just share people’s dreams. some dreams are about crypto. I don’t sell anything. so it’s not spam or anything like that. i have a large youtube channel as well.

i was not aware about crypto content and terms of service, i will look into it.

I looked at the terms and didn’t see anything mentioning crypto. I went ahead and sent an email to infinityfree support to see what they can recommend in my situation.

on my channel i post people’s dreams and church sermons. so if i have a post with someone’s dream of bitcoin going to one million - does that violate the terms? i’m not selling anything or telling people to buy anything, just sharing a dream someone had.

inifinity free keep sending me emails to upgrade. does that upgraded service also restrict crypto?

oops, sorry i did not see that. i was reading the terms of service and at the bottom of the page it said to use email.
