Ftpupload.net not reacable

My website URL is:
deepakroutray.ml

deepakroutray.ml
What I’m seeing is:
Resolving address of ftpupload.net
Status: Connecting to 185.27.134.11:21…
Status: Connection attempt failed with “ENETUNREACH - Network unreachable”.

Connecting to FTP server gives below error
Resolving address of ftpupload.net
Status: Connecting to 185.27.134.11:21…
Status: Connection attempt failed with “ENETUNREACH - Network unreachable”.

I’m using this software:
FTP Client FileZilla

Additional information:

The last time I saw a “Network unreachable” error was when I tried to run a PHP mailing script on a hosting provider who blocked connections to external SMTP servers by default.

So I suspect that your network may be blocking access to the IP address or port number of the FTP server.

Can you please ask your network administrator about this as well? Or perhaps see if you can connect through a VPN?

I tried it with VPN on. Still same issue. I do not think FTP server is up. Can you check that? Ping to server giving me timeout issue. I am able to access everything else from infinity free service. So my network is fine.

I’m also getting this problem but with a different IP 81.99.162.48 (I’m in the UK)
Browsing the ftpupload.net get’s you this… perhaps they’re just down?

Try to use as IP 185.27.134.11 to connect to FTP, and use a FTP client to do it.

The FTP server is shared for all accounts. If it was really down, there would quickly be hundreds of people on the forum reporting it. Seeing how it seems to be just you that’s having this issue, I doubt the entire server is down.

Our servers block ping requests by default. Fortunately, file transfers don’t require ping to work.

ftpupload.net is the FTP server. It doesn’t host any website, so it doesn’t show any web page if you try to open it in a browser. Most (if not all browsers) do have FTP capabilities, but you have to tell it explicitly to use FTP, like so: ftp://ftpupload.net

That did not work for me. Tried with FileZilla ftp client with plain text encoding.
Only thing that worked for me is web FTP “FTP and SSH online - upload, edit, copy, move, rename & more
But that seems to be very slow and not of any use to me.
Looks to be response time issue. Server is shared so load may be too much.

Please note that FTP as a protocol is extremely sensitive to latency. If you’re looking for a web based file manager, I highly recommend to try the file manager in the client area and control panel. That file manager is hosted in the same datacenter of your website, so it responds much faster than a random FTP web client you found.

And it has the added benefit of not requiring you to enter your hosting account details in a third party website, where they could be recorded and abused. Not saying that particular site is bad, but please do be careful with your login details.
