No error message, FTP reports upload success but any new uploaded file disappears, even tiny files of a few kb. The same happens in the browser based file manager.
This happens both in the root and in subfolders. Listing and downloading files works fine, only upload doesn’t work. Please suggest a resolution.
Thank you!

Thanks Frank. The same folder worked for thousands of files over a few months so it isn’t the wrong folder.
As for usage limits, the Dashboard doesn’t show any limits exceeded or close, so if there’s an exceeded limit there’s no indication on the dash, in an error on upload, or via email notification.
Please also note that the FTP server will at most list 1000 files in a directory. If there are more files in the directory, the files will still exist, but you won’t see them in the listing in the file manager or your FTP client.
And yes, like @lovebug and @KangJL said: yes, it was possible in the past to upload files outside of htdocs directories, but that has been fixed recently. We provide storage space for website files, and files outside of htdocs directory cannot be website files, so there is no legitimate reason to upload files there.
If you have been using our hosting to store files which are not website files, you’re breaking our rules, and you should be storing those files on a file hosting solution.
