That troubleshooting information doesn’t really say anything. It says “pinghost” failed. But our servers all block ping, so that could be meaningless. As for why it can’t connect, I cannot say.
Do you perhaps have a desktop or laptop to test? Desktop FTP clients tend to be a bit more mature than mobile ones, and generally give better diagnostic information.
I have also tried it with FileZilla on a MacBook. Timeout error. Takes long. But no connection. I have deleted the settings, and then again installed a clean FileZilla. Same result, no nonnection due to time out. What can I do? It has worked fine. But since the last few weeks, this problem.
Knowing that the issue happens both on the MacBook and the iPad is good to know, but doesn’t really tell us exactly how it breaks.
Would you mind sharing the debug logs from FileZilla? Those can be obtained like so:
Sorry for the delay, I was abroad a few days.
I have activated filezilla and the debug. Here are the results:

Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry…

There is a persist error due to timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity.
Is that really all you see? Even after disabling more detailed logging?
The IP address and port shown are correct, but it seems like you are just unable to connect to the server.
This could be cause by a firewall of some kind somewhere blocking the connection.
Could you perhaps try from another device or network, or maybe try connecting over a VPN and see if that helps?
I have switched to a VPN connection. And this works. Thanks for the advice👍🏻
Glad to hear a VPN works for you!
I think that this means that access to our FTP server (or FTP in general) is blocked by a firewall on your network. If so, you could try asking your network administrator or internet provider to check and see if they may be blocking you from accessing our FTP server.
I have now a workaround. And sure I will ask my provider to add the ftp. Thanks
