Hello so i recently bought a domain at strato.se and im trying to move files from my infinityfree website. However, the FTP speeds are extremely slow when moving files from infinityfree. I did adjust some settings in WinSCP and still same things. I most oftenly get either ≈1 KB/s to ≈90 KB/s and sometimes even up to ≈10 KB/s. I’ve already checked other topic on similar problem, but well those weren’t really exact to my problem (im not uploading to infinityfree servers, but uploading to strato servers from infinityfree servers), can anyone help? I live in Sweden, and i heard it’s because of latency, but im not really sure. My network speed is 300Mbps and im using ethernet cable.
This is probably your issue. I recommend downloading all your files from your InfinityFree account to your computer via FTP and then uploading them to your new hosting account manually. If the uploading still goes slow, that would be an issue with the new hosting provider (or your connection to their file servers).

alright, marked this as a solution because i’ve seen that i get ≈32 MB/s when i upload directly from my computer to STRATO servers.
nvm, it’s still slow when downloading the files from infinityfree.
