Ftp error. 530 Login authentication failed

Username: epiz_31442779when I try to ftp using filezilla using the credentials on the infinityfree dashboard I get this error message

Please try to reset your hosting account password from the client area.

Should I leave this empy and then try to FTP again?

Yes you can leave it empty, and connect to FTP again using the new password from the client area :slight_smile:

Hmm, looks like a server problem, does the online filemanager work for you?

Weird. The online file manager still works for me. Still can’t FTP though

If the file manager works but FileZilla does not, it means FTP access for your account is working. So the most likely explanation is that the password you’re using in FileZilla is not correct.

Can you please double check that the password you’re using in FileZilla matches the one of the hosting account you’re trying to access? Please note that this password is not the same as the password you use to login on app.infinityfree.net, and it was changed when you reset the password of your account.
