FTP directory "Locked"

I’m using Finder’s “Connect to Server” feature but when I connect it is read only. Finder and TextEdit both say the directory is “Locked”

Please note that Finder is designed to be read-only when it comes to servers, so you can only download stuff or check what a file name is
