I just signed up and followed the instructions to host my site through a domain I already own. When I try to upload the files it says the error message, even though on my statistics page it shows I’m using none of my storage.
This message seems to come from the online file manager which just says this without proper reason.
You should use FileZilla instead.
The best and most reliable way to upload files is to use FTP. To upload files with FTP, you will need to following:
Your FTP username
Your FTP password
The FTP hostname
An FTP client
You can find your FTP username, password and hostname in the client area under the FTP Details section. The FTP password is the same as your hosting account and control panel password, which is different from the password for the client area. I can’t even upload the index file…
Have you opened the control panel for your new account? (Not to be confused with the client area.) Technically, you have to access the control panel at least once for the FTP account to be active, and sometimes the client area fails to do that automatically.

Nevermind it’s doing it again. I tried to edit the index file and it wont let me delete the old one and add the new one.
So the fix that seems to work is closing the browser… logging back in and redoing it. Got it working again lol
Like Frank mentioned earlier, the online file manager isn’t always stable.
It’s handy for quick edits, but personally I’d also recommend using FileZilla if you can.
