This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at sql212.byetcluster.com. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Other Information

Prtty much every five minutes or so and persists for second or as much as four or five minutes, every day, all day.

Can you please try getting the actual database error message? It will provide a lot more information about why the database connection is failing. You can do this by enabling WP_DEBUG mode and then refreshing the page: Debugging in WordPress – Documentation
