Hello, I constantly receive an email from you with the subject ‘Thank you for using our hosting.’ It contains an attached file named ‘noname’ with no extension; I had to manually add ‘.html’ at the end to open it. Could you please let me know if this is expected behavior, or if it’s some kind of error or glitch, and whether the emails should not come in this form and so frequently?
It’s some weirdness on iFastNet’s end. Every few years that happens (And every few years I say something and nothing changes). I’ve honestly given up at this point and ignore them, all the important emails render correctly.
wow it sounds like they just have to edit 1 line of code and add the .html extension to the file name
no wonder you have given up asking
Not necessarily. It’s adding it as an attachment, not as the email body. So adding a file extension would just make it a downloadable HTML file. It needs to be changed so it’s added as email body instead of an attachment.
ah ! thanks, i’m always learning something here
Can you please share the subject of the email message? That should make it easier to identify the exact message you received on our end and allow us to investigate and fix this issue.
“Thank you for using our hosting.”
The file is called “1” and is always 20.08 KB
