Hello, your site have ssl, you don’t see it probably because you need to clear(delete) the cache browse.

Hi,
thank you for your reply. Thats really strange.
I cannot open it with https even when i deleted browser cache. I tried with another browser (mozila) and it is the same.
Also i have tried from another PC and i still see the same error.
Any ideas what else could be doing this ?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply again. I have read that article and done the steps mentioned inside.
I have added .htaccess file in my htdocs directory as well. Still the same.
I will try to clear my PC DNS cache.

Unfortunately clearing my PC DNS cache didnt resolve the issue. I think i will have to go with your words that it is working and hope that it is somekind of cache on my side that will magicaly dissapear so i can finally see my website live.
Thanks for your comments.

HTTPS works, I can also confirm - supersolmario.world...irginia USA - EC2 - WebPageTest Result

although I have seen 503 Nginx a couple of times
which has nothing to do with you, but either someone DDoS the server again or some maintenance was in progress.

Ask for only one certificate in the future

because every time you request and install a new one, you wait longer or it happens that the browser has an old certificate (some that you installed 10 minutes ago, but is no longer valid because you already have another one installed, so maybe the browser gets confused and says that it has a problem with https).

Hi, thanks for the clarification.
That shouldnt be the case tho… Both of the certificates are trusted by my browser and all browsers, so no matter which one is on the server side, my browser will accept it. At least that is how i understand SSL protocol.
Anyways, i noticed that somehow i have reached the 50.000 daily hits limit (impossible as website is not yet live to the community). Could it be because someone DDOSed the server and eat up all my impressions ?
Thanks in advance

yes - and it has been going on for 3 days according to our rough estimate

Thank you for your response.
Could we do something, because these attacks are actually affecting us (the clients) that are using your services. Do you think using cloudflare free dns will protect the site against similar DDOS attacks in future ? Do you have any services that could protect our websites in such situations ?
Thanks in advance.

It would help
firstly because it is a CDN and depending on your settings most of the static files will be served directly from cloudflare

The second, of course, is properly adjusted multi-layer protection, and it depends on how much you actually know your website and then adjust the CF accordingly.
