Free.nf domain blocked by Malwarebytes, so can I just

I’m using InfinityFree for hosting a very simple page for my business, but unfortunately the free.nf domain is blocked by Malwarebytes. If I purchase my own domain (through iFastNet?) and then set that up as a “parked domain”, will that solve the problem, or will Malwarebytes somehow still see it as going through free.nf and continue to block it?

As long as you don’t have any redirects going from the custom domain to the free subdomain, it won’t be blocked (Unless the block is actually because of something on your site and not the noisy neighbor effect, then it will get blocked again).

Thank you. Exactly the answer I wanted to hear. :slightly_smiling_face:

A good percentage of infinityfree’s free subdomains have been blocked by malwarebytes premium along with many other domains that are known to be good

Malwarebytes does support whitelisting URL’s in case you have issues with other sites in the future

Just FYI

In the past, free domain names were mainly associated with illegal activities. But it does not mean that every user of the free domain name has done something illegal or abusive.
