MP4 seems like it a type of crypto, so yes, that is not allowed. However, .mp4 is a video extension and is allowed.

I later compressed the video and re-uploaded it and it worked. The problem now is that the video takes too much time to play in the website
Yes because video’s are not meant for free hosting.

That’s because it is such a big video. No matter where you host your website you will have the same problem.
