Facebook Debugger 403 Error on My InfinityFree Website

Hello InfinityFree Support,

I am facing an issue with my website spin-and-earn.free.nf when sharing it on Facebook or Messenger. Facebook Debugger shows a “Bad Response Code (403)” error, which prevents Facebook from fetching the metadata.

  1. I updated the .htaccess file and added this rule to allow Facebook’s bot. and I created a robots.txt file

  2. I tried Facebook Debugger (Sharing Debugger - Meta for Developers) and clicked “Scrape Again,” but the issue persists.

Error Details from Facebook Debugger:

  • Response Code: 403 Forbidden
  • Reason: “This response code could be due to a robots.txt block. Please allowlist facebookexternalhit on your site’s robots.txt config to utilize Facebook scraping.”

It looks like InfinityFree might be blocking Facebook’s bot. Could you please confirm if InfinityFree allows facebookexternalhit and suggest any further steps to resolve this issue?

Facebook’s crawler might be blocked because of this:

And unfortunately there is no way to disable this system in free host.
