Website not showing after saying its “uploaded” by website builder. Instead a weird “hotel search” menu showing

(please share the FULL error message you see, if applicable)

Other Information

I have made a website and connected it to my godaddy domain. I even paid for the website builder no adds version. The website appeared for 4 minutes and then displayed these hotel menus. It also shows it on my phone and other computers.

Why and how can i fix this? I just want it to display free website from website builder which im publishing :frowning:

If you actually read the topic, you would see it’s about unused subdomains being redirected to that page, not the website itself not working.

So in this case, it’s not related.

I checked your domain and this looks like DNS caching to me. Our nameservers are returning the right IP address for your website which means you shouldn’t see this page.

Your website was created only a few hours ago. So as you can see from the big orange banner in the client area: this is normal.

Hello Admin. I am concerned because I have seen the “published” website before - and then it disappeared again. I never had it with any website host before.

Why would it be cache, if it showed the correct website?

As you can see in the client area:

It can take up to 72 hours for new domains to be accessible everywhere!

Note the final word: everywhere.

We use this word because it’s like either your website works or it doesn’t. DNS cache varies depending on the device and network used. So it’s perfectly normal for a website to work intermittently, or only one some devices or browsers and not of others.

That’s just how DNS works, and it will stabilize over time, almost always within 72 hours but usually less.

Everything looks perfectly normal so far. Please just give it time.

Ok thanks, i will come back to it in 72 hours

You can install the SSL certificate while you wait because your site is forcing
httpS version and you don’t have a certificate installed.
