I previously uploaded my 1st website file of 335MB in WordPress using a plugin called All-in-one WP migration into WordPress but it failed to upload. Now I upload a second one of 45MB and it went successfully. For a while I installed other plugins and at a certain moment, I’m trying to use elementor to to edit my website in WordPress but it was stuck on the loading section. I tried to troubleshoot and it seems as if it’s error in memory space, since I’m using a free plan. How can I delete the previous 335MB file found, because it’s it that is taking much space in the htdocs file manager, it failed while uploading?
Since the first file which was 335MB didn’t upload correctly, it has used much of the available space in my FTP. How can I solve that. Or free up cash/junk. Maybe it may solve it. I don’t know.
the stats on your cpanel like freespace and inodes are not updated in real time, I think they’re updated about every 8 hours, the actual free space will be correct but just not displayed yet
so those large files will have been automatically deleted and the space is available even if the cpanel disk space says otherwise
The attached image show the problem I’m facing. Since a while it’s loading but not showing. I tried to deactivate plugin but it was still doing the same issue.
I think you should consider reading this article, as backup plugins tend to be problematic:
Also, Elementor is a heavy plugin, so if you can, you should also consider using lightweight alternatives (like the Gutenberg editor) so as to not overload our servers too much.
