I am trying to use filezilla as I did before, but today it is giving me many errors, I cannot connect to the server, but others can, I mean this happens with infinity free, and it gives me this error, I don’t know if anyone has more information please
Status: Directory “/” listed correctly
Answer: 421 Timeout - try typing a little faster next time
Error: GnuTLS error -110 in gnutls_record_recv: The TLS connection was non-properly terminated.
Status: The server did not close the TLS connection properly
Error: Could not read from socket: ECONNABORTED - Connection aborted
Error: Disconnected from server
Well look, as I said with other servers it works for me, just by connecting to the server of my page here in infinity free that happens, and I already verified many things and the truth is I can’t find the fault, because of so many things that I already verified it seems to be external my file zilla connection
and because of that error it doesn’t allow me to make any transfer, I also tried to connect from other servers and I wasn’t allowed either, it still gives me an error
This clearly shows that the FTP connection was setup successfully, and was then closed for inactivity. Our FTP server is quite aggressive in closing inactive connections, and will kill connections when they don’t do anything after only 20 seconds.
To transfer files, just open the FTP connection, navigate to the desired directory, and start the transfer. As long as you’re using the connection, it will stay open.
If you connect first and then go do something else, the connection will be closed. That’s normal. Just disconnect and reconnect to continue.
Well you see, I had already accessed the control panel, I had also already linked the server with File Zilla, there were no problems before, yesterday was when it wouldn’t let me connect at all, neither through File Zilla, nor through other applications, because of course, yes The directory was listed, but it didn’t allow me to upload or download anything from the directory, that was the problem, when I tried it it disconnected, but today I tried again and it stopped, I don’t know what happened because I just opened File Zilla and it connect, I didn’t make new moves or anything,
How much time was there between the directory listing and between you doing something? Because if it was more than 20 seconds, the inactivity timer would have kicked in and the server would have closed the connection. That usually looks like the FTP connection being “stuck”.
But again, that’s all normal and by design. Simply disconnect and reconnect to continue managing your files.
Well at the time I didn’t spend much time, also there were things I investigated, I increased that downtime to 60 seconds to check other things, it still failed me, but as I said it was already solved, I don’t know what happened, it just worked today Yesterday I couldn’t either through File Zilla or through other means, thanks anyway
